Nature - Spring Time

Nature Table

One day Laura and I collected some mosses and lichens and made these little boxes, some of the moss has browned but one little twig that I made the arch-way with has started to grow, lovely don't you think!

New sewing room - office

Shelves all organized

Comfy chair to sit in!

Add a pretty light!

Angel Quilt by Grandma Luciel goes back up on the wall!
Wish I would have taken before pictures, but here are some of the after pictures.  It is still a full room, but I have gotten rid of 5 boxes of books, 4 bags of stuff, recycled 3 boxes or more of old school papers, and of course made a trip with a trunk load of stuff to the thrift store. Still have more stuff to get rid of that is not going back in this room.  Takes a bit of time to go through 12 years plus of homeschooling stuff, plus craft stuff, doll stuff and office stuff.  O' my!  Thanks to the girls for helping out so much with painting and de-junking, to Eli for lugging stuff, and to Jeff for putting up the light and putting up with me.

Spring

Laura and bottle babies!
I just love this time of year...SPRING!  All is new - the colors of the earth are amazing...new greens, light reds and pinks on the trees - buds just waiting to burst, yellows that dazzle.  The peepers are singing, the daffodils are blooming, the barn is full of romping lambs, the grass is greening up, the frogs are awake and singing me to sleep at night.  The chickens are all laying eggs, nights are perfect for camp fires and star gazing, the night crawlers are on the move.  Thank you Lord for your amazing creation and thanks for putting me in a place that is so alive. Also can't forget bike riding and gardening weather is here too. So much to be thankful for!!

Creativity - Owl Weekend

Painted these little guys this weekend. I have always been interested in owls...I think I get it from my Grandma Rhynalds.

Stitched up these little hearts to turn the winter tree into a Valentine's Day tree.

Finished this little dishcloth - hung it up in the kitchen!
